PROJECT
Sculptural ceramic elements were the unifying element for the space which
included
a bar, maitre d’ station
and stage proscenium. A theme of “Earth, Fire, Water and
Wind” was
chosen by the architect for interlocking ceramic shapes.
SOLUTION
Magnificent Manufacturing designed abstract gestural motifs to
represent the four elements. These motifs were interpreted in
mathematically complex repeat patterns varying from 7” to
28” to accommodate
five different column diameters. Deeply sculpted forms were hand
painted with an exciting array of colors.
