PROJECT
The designer
needed a large, sculptural wall element behind the main bar. The project
was on a tight schedule and the owner
wanted to facilitate
accurate installation by having the panel pre-set to fit an existing
opening.
SOLUTION
Magnificent
Manufacturing created an intricate 732-piece high-relief sculpture
of interlocking repeated shapes. The custom
colored components
were fixed to five-foot high plywood panels that were sized to fit
into the planned opening. The result was an ocean wave motif sculpture
that
serves as a focus for the restaurant.
